Hmmm What is this all about?? A newspaper article on the subject had me digging for this new phrase I had read about. ‘A Mind Affair’. So lets see what I understood of it.
Very often we find someone attractive or beautiful… but how often do we come across people who stimulate you mentally?? Like a book or maybe a movie how often do we come across a person whose words keep us mulling over what they said, questions to ask and questions to answer? If we do come across such a person don’t we look forward to meeting them again? They seem to excite your mind more than your body or emotions.
Looks may fade and the initial zing of sexual attraction may eventually die down and even peoples kindness warmth and care may just later on be taken for granted. But there is one thing that can never ever be taken for granted, can never be monotonous or boring and that is a creative ever thinking mind….the intricacies of which may enrapture you and attract you towards it.
The unusual mind is never predictable, its never monotonous, it always keeps churning out new ideas, thoughts as they are always doing things out of the box. The can change their mind and thinking, rebuilding thoughts making it a constant challenge that excites us. Among all the conversations you have had with many people during a course of time, there may be one whose thoughts and talk remain in your mind challenging you to think differently, to react differently or just plain mull over it.That is the mind you have an affair with.
A mind affair…so different from the physical affair …love or romance. A mind affair that delves into the working of another mind which is pretty interesting in itself but also mesmerizes us with the different thoughts that can in turn challenge our own thoughts and mind.
I guess very few are lucky enough to find in their partner also someone who challenges your mind and keeps you in a perpetual state of stimulation. If one knows how to take inspiration from the intelligent mind without getting overshadowed and knows to build their own minds to be beautiful in thoughts, an Mind affair is just what they are having.

May be the words, "mind affair" is a bit absurd; but it is true that without any physical attraction we do get excited in having a conversation with some people. Some peace of mind in their company

Actually, I am thinking to write on the subject and it is really interesting to see your article. I have quite often fallen in mind affair and I liked or loved it even more.
